Tool
I wrote Tool as a young musician fresh out of college and at the time I felt that it had one of the best hooks I’d ever written. When I recorded it however, it didn’t carry through. So I recently revisited the song, tweaked some of the lyrics and added some more bluesy elements (courtesy of guitarist Jordan Yarbrough). I think the final result was much improved and captures the energy that I originally intended it to have!
